Gogyohka-Thursday [71]

"Stop thinking," she urged.

Stop thinking.

Silence my whirling heart,

racing through a thousand

yet unspent days.

  1. Linda,
Beautiful. Your brother recommended your blog to me. I am very happy to say that I find it quite interesting, being a budding poet myself. I am exited to see other people like you who have a love for God and use their poetry to express it.

This Gogyohka-Thursday in particular is an alluring and silent seeming one. It reminds me of days that I spent wasting my time and that we need to take every special second in our hands. My mother would always tell me, "You think too much."
I read your poem, and I think that maybe I do.

PS, Sorry for my deleting of so many comments. They are all the same, just um, spelling errors. :D

  2. Aw, thank you! I'm glad you are enjoying it. :-) (Awww, my sweet brother... such a fan of mine. :-) :-))

Ah wasting time. Yes, I can see that (and relate). For my own part, I tend to over-think things... hyper-analyze... stress out about things I can't control. 'Plan days and weeks and years in advance (as if that were possible). 'Weight every possible option, view-point, possibility... ... hence my sister's urging, "Stop thinking!" :-)

RePS: No prob, I went in and deleted the residues. ;-)
